Flambards new indoor play facility One2eleven is fast becoming one of the county’s most popular party venues.

One satisfied youngster, Bea Finlay, was so impressed she announced to her parents and some of the guests at her fourth birthday party that it would be the same venue next year too.

Flambards popular annual showcase of young, talented, local rock bands, is set to take place at the attraction’s Kingsford Venue on Friday, November 11.

Six Band Smash-Up - the title of this year’s event - will feature six bands made up of gifted young musicians.

The Sentient and The Bad Channels, both heavy metal bands, play regular small venues locally and have been instrumental in putting the event together. Rock bands; Stitch This, Push, White Noise and Operated by Fires are new talents; most band members being in their mid to late teens. Read more »
