Exhibitions

The fascinating and internationally acclaimed Victorian Village takes visitors back in time to wander through authentic re-created Victorian streets with shops, homes and businesses giving you a real sense of what it was like in Victorian times. The famous chemist’s shop is a must see. Untouched and hidden for over 70 years before being transported and set up exactly as before at Flambards.

The Britain in the Blitz provides a unique experience and reminder of what life was like during war-torn Britain. Walk through the bomb hit streets, hear the wailing sirens, smell the burning and capture the atmosphere and realism of the devastation created by an enemy air attack.

New this year is the exhibition dedicated to 'A Century of Pioneering Flight,' which chronicles the remarkable achievements of pilots and their flying machines from 1902 to today. Other aircraft exhibited include the Concorde prototype and a chance to get ‘hands-on’ inside a vintage Shackleton Bomber.
