Flambards new indoor play facility One2eleven is fast becoming one of the county’s most popular party venues.

One satisfied youngster, Bea Finlay, was so impressed she announced to her parents and some of the guests at her fourth birthday party that it would be the same venue next year too.

Kate Finlay, Bea’s mum, said: “It was a great party, they all enjoyed it and lots of Bea’s friends have already announced they’re having their parties at One2eleven too.

“It was all so easy - the parents had reserved seating, we had a dedicated member of staff and the food was really good – more than enough and with lots of healthy options on offer. Even the little things were catered for – you take your own cake, for example, but the staff have spare candles and matches in case you forget.  I’ve done that before!”

Bea and Kate are not the only ones to have officially commented on how pleased they’ve been with the One2eleven experience. Another mum sent a thank you to staff after her child’s birthday.

The card said: “Everyone has commented what a fantastic venue it is for a party and how well organised by the staff. It was a great success for us and stress free!”

One2eleven is open all but 5 days of the year so almost everyone can have a party on their actual birthday if they want - as long as they’re under 12 years old.

The main play area has slides, tunnels, cannon shooters, air-bursting ball swamps, rope-walkways and swings. There is also a dedicated area for babies and toddlers as well as One2eleven Street, where you can fix a Ferrari in Mr Fixits Auto Shop, look after the pets at the Animal Hospital, shop at the supermarket, stop for a rest at the play cafe, build in the Brick Room or try on something new in the Fancy Dress Room.

Parties must be for a minimum of 10 children, the maximum number is flexible. Each child costs £10.50, reduced to £9 for annual card holders. The price includes entrance to the play area, a party buffet or hot meal and unlimited jugs of squash. The buffet includes sandwiches, sausage rolls, mini sausages, pizza squares, crisps and dips, corn snacks, cherry tomatoes, carrot sticks and fruit segments. Optional party bags cost an extra £2 per person.
