Flambards Christmas Fayre in Victorian Village
Following on from last year’s huge success, Flambards Christmas Fayre will return on Saturday 3 – Sunday 4 December, featuring local crafters and businesses all showcasing their wares. The family-friendly fayre will have the all magic of Christmas in this unique location, plus Father Christmas will be visiting throughout the weekend.
The festive event, which will be set within the cobbled streets of the indoor Victorian Village, Britain in the Blitz and in Flambards’ bespoke entertainment venue as well as various places throughout the park, will be showcasing around 80 designer-makers, gifts, crafts and goodies as well as delicious food and drink produce.
This year you can purchase your Christmas Tree at Flambards! Nordmann Firs, a beautiful non-drop variety, will be available with cut trees ranging from 4-10ft. Also available will be the traditional Norway Spruce which will range from 4-8ft.
Helston Town Band will be joining in the Christmas spirit again, having proved such a hit with visitors in 2015. Face painting will be available for all the children and can be found undercover by Santa.
Manager Richard Smith says: "We are delighted to be hosting the Christmas Craft Fayre at Flambards once more. We are looking forward to bringing the Victorian Village and the Entertainment Venue amongst other locations to life with plenty of festive fun.”
He continues: "It will be a great start to the Christmas season for visitors to begin getting into the festive spirit and to start (or finish) their Christmas shopping."
Organisers Kate Pearson and Shirley Cookson say: “Now in its second year, we're aiming for the Flambards Christmas Fayre to be even better than last year. Our emphasis, as always, is on quality and affordable products and delicious food and drinks in a great location. We are expecting thousands of people again to enjoy all that the fayre has to offer.”
Once the stocking fillers have been bought visitors can relax in the Village Café or the Burger Bar with winter warmers such as hot soup, pasties and a curry to help keep the winters chill at bay!
For this weekend entrance to the Christmas Fayre is £1.00 per person – which includes entrance to the Victorian Village and Britain in the Blitz, as well as free parking.
