Online Booking Recommended
We recommend that where possible visitors book ahead online. This will save you money too and ensure you have secured a ticket as we will have limited capacity on some days.
How we are keeping you safe
In order to manage numbers and ensure social distancing guidelines are maintained, the theme park will initially be operating with reduced capacity and all visitors are encouraged to pre-book online.
While the vast majority of the rides and attractions will be open, some indoor areas will remain closed until government restrictions allow, these include Space Race, Demon Drop, Exploratorium Indoor and Outdoor play areas, The Victorian Village, and Britain in the Blitz. We expect to be able to reopen the indoor attractions from the 18th May 2021.
There is still a limitation on meeting up with other people outside of your household to a maximum of 6. We ask our visitors to please ensure they are following the current government guidelines before visiting. For more information please visit the Government website.
Team members will be following a series of enhanced cleaning and hygiene measures on-site and queue markers are in place to help visitors keep a safe distance apart.
A number of catering facilities will be open but ‘takeaway only’, as well as the gift shop, and visitors will need to use contactless card payments whenever possible.
Any visitor who has a temperature, or is showing any other signs of coronavirus, will be asked to stay at home and Flambards will re-schedule their visit for a future date.
Will I need to wear a mask?
All visitors* must provide and wear a facemask in all indoor areas including attractions, shops and catering outlets and are recommended on many rides.

What do I do if one of my family is ill at the last minute?
We understand that due to unforeseen circumstances or if you have developed symptoms of the coronavirus you may require to change the date/time of your visit to our attraction. Please contact us as soon as possible to rearrange your visit.
If you have a suspected case of COVID-19 then will you close your attraction?
Please be assured that we work in close co-operation with the local health authority and will direct enquiries to them and will act immediately upon their advice. The safety and wellbeing of our guests and staff is our priority and we will continue to monitor the situation at our attraction closely, taking all necessary precautions.
How will you ensure rides adhere to H&S and social distancing guidance?
We have reviewed every part of our operation and have implemented an extensive range of measures to ensure compliance to government and local authority guidelines to create a safe experience for all guests and staff, and this includes our rides.
Visitors may notice spatial separation markings and other similar operating adjustments around the Park, including floor markings. On the rides, there will be reduced capacity and batching to maintain social distancing that can include empty seats or rows and where possible, grouping within household units.
Our staff will also be encouraged to observe social distancing where practical and we will be providing additional Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and clothing for our guest-facing staff which will include ride operators where appropriate.
We ask all those who visit our attraction to observe closely our strict guidelines on maintaining a safe distance between each other and to maintain good hygiene practices including utilising the hand sanitiser stations located around the Park and if they or any family member displays any symptoms of COVID-19, that they postpone their visit.
