May Bank Holiday Fun at Flambards!
Published: 20th April 2017Flambards Theme Park is celebrating the May Bank Holiday weekend (April 29th-May 1st) with a fun-packed programme of family activities.
Flambards mascot, Ferdi the Fox will be hosting his very own party in the park on Sunday, April 30th from 1pm.
He will be joined on stage by a gang of his fellow mascots including Kevin the Badger, Trixie the Bunny, Paxo the Chicken, Chefy the Chef for an afternoon of fun and games.
There will be duck racing on the pond with winners picking up their own mini versions of Ferdi plus regular mascot meet and greet sessions taking place.
Rides and attractions will be open daily throughout the weekend.
Take a spin on the Hornet Rollercoaster, check out the views from the top of SkyRaker, brave the Thunderbolt or journey into the dark on Space Race and prepare to get wet on the Colorado River log flume.
Traditional fun is guaranteed on the Carousel and Teacup rides as well as the Cornwall Eye and Balloon Race plus there’s crazy golf and go karts.
The park provides plenty of undercover soft play for little ones, plus the outdoor adventure play and a hands on science zone with laser maze, disorientation tunnel in Ferdi’s Funland.
Spot life-sized dinosaurs on the Jurassic Journey. Don’t miss the stegosaurus, a five metre tall brachiosaurus, awesome tyrannosaurus rex and giant triceratops.
Visit the Dino-Nursey & Hatchery to see the latest arrivals and join the Dino-Dig to unearth fossilised remains in a special prehistoric boneyard.
Take a walk through history in Flambards’ award-winning undercover attractions. The ‘Victorian Village’ has over 50 authentically recreated shops and scenes of everyday life, while the ‘Britain in the Blitz’ exhibition presents a life-size recreation of a London street during WWII.
Visitors are encouraged to bring a picnic or enjoy a selection of hot and cold food and drinks from the café.
