May Half Term Circus Skills at Flambards in Cornwall
Published: 9th May 2018Visitors to Flambards will have the chance to run away to the circus – at least for a few hours – as part of its May Half Term holiday entertainment (May 26th – June 3rd).
The Helston theme park is running a Circus Skills Week featuring daily performances from acrobats, jugglers and clowns plus workshop sessions for visitors to learn the tricks of the trade including spinning plates, tightrope walking, juggling, stilt-walking and uni-cycling.
There will be different shows every day from a host of talented artists performing everything from juggling with blades to lying on a bed of nails.
On Saturday May, 26th Sunday, May 27th Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist Phil Blackmore will be presenting his entertaining juggling and unicycle act.
Higher Beings and the Abi & Star Circus Show will baffle and astonish audiences as they tackle the bed of nails, juggle with blades and befuddle you with circus tricks. Join in with the crazy circus dance and watch an aerial hoop demonstration on Monday, May 28th and Tuesday, May 29th.
Spangles the Clown performs mindboggling magic on Wednesday, May 30th and Saturday, June 2nd with fun and games and plenty of audience participation.
Rupert Elford will be presenting his ‘Showdown with Gravity on Thursday, May 31st and Friday, June 1st. The show mixes ladder balancing and extreme unicycle riding with plenty of jokes and laughs.
On Sunday, June 3rd Ben The Juggler will be combining high level skills with great comic timing with a show including balancing, spinning and juggling...sometimes all at the same time.
