Information for Visitors
Published: 15th September 2020In order to manage numbers and ensure social distancing guidelines are maintained, the theme park will initially be operating with reduced capacity and all visitors will need to pre-book online.
Following the Government update, from the 14th September, there is a now a limitation on meeting up with other people outside of your household to a maximum of 6. This is in order to protect everyone visiting and working at the park. Therefore to comply with this guidance you may not purchase tickets for more than 6 people if you are not from the same household. If you live in a household with more than 6 people, you can continue to book tickets and visit together. Tickets may be purchased for families/households larger than 6 who live together or are in the same support bubble. Whilst visiting the Park, families must still adhere to the social distancing guidelines in place. For more information please visit the Government website.
Staff are also introducing a series of additional cleaning and hygiene measures on-site and queue markers are in place to help visitors keep a safe distance apart.
While the vast majority of the rides and attractions will be open we are having to temporarily close the Space Race, Exploritorium, Demon Drop and the indoor and outdoor play area until further clarity on social distancing is made available.
Visitors will be encouraged to leave plenty of space around their vehicles in the car park and additional cleaning stations have been installed around the park.
A number of catering facilities will be open, as well as the gift shop, and visitors will need to use contactless card payments whenever possible.
Any visitor who has a temperature, or is showing any other signs of coronavirus, will be asked to stay at home and Flambards will re-schedule their visit for a future date.

On the rides, there will be reduced capacity and batching to maintain social distancing that can include empty seats or rows and where possible, grouping within household units.
